Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach/Gym Coordinator/World History

Education: I was raised in San Antonio and attended NISD schools. I went to Oak Hills Terrace, Pat Neff MS, and John Marshall HS. I attended and graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Family: I am the youngest of five children and the son of Bill and Maria Raynes. My wife’s name is Dawn and we have been married for 16 years. We have a daughter named Melissa. She is 11 and is in the 5th grade.

Favorite Sports Memory: Playing for my high school basketball team at Marshall HS and the playoff run that continued to the state final in my junior year.

Favorite Team: San Antonio Spurs

What is your favorite part of coaching: Building relationships and seeing the athletes improve to a point when they really start to get it. When our athletes embrace the challenge and play so well that it shows coaching even more fun and rewarding.
